Dr. Pete Savard is the founder and CEO of GWC and is based in the State of Ohio. As nurse of 34 years in critical care, mobile healthcare, and global health, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to GWC. He has conducted water evaluation surveys globally understanding both the short and long term health needs of safe sustainable water. His doctoral research was conducted in India on the beliefs, values, and practices of water handling and disease transmission. He was responsible for all of the completed GWC projects including the Kadali, Andhra Pradesh, India project that has been operational for the last seven years.

Matt is a Miami University graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Geology (water focus) and a minor in Urban and Regional Planning. He brings more than a decade of operations experience in the water resources industry, managing maintenance and construction work across water infrastructure and supply assets. 

His background includes hydrogeologic and water-quality investigations; drilling and water-supply well construction; well rehabilitation; pumping and filtration equipment design, operation, and

maintenance; waterline installation; water treatment plant services; mechanical repairs; and distribution metering systems. Matt holds an Ohio EPA Class II Water Supply Operator license and has operated both cation exchange and lime-softening plants treating up to 40 million gallons per day. 

He currently serves as a Project Manager in the Water Resources Division at Shook Construction, overseeing water and wastewater projects.

From the start of his college education, water has been the center of Matt’s curiosity and the thread that connects his work, from understanding where water comes from to ensuring communities can rely on it every day. That focus began with source-water

supply and the assets that produce and protect it, and it has grown into a broader commitment to planning, building, and maintaining the infrastructure that moves, treats,

and returns water safely. 

Matt is driven by a strong interest in water resources and the growing challenges surrounding water supply, quality, and the infrastructure that supports our communities.

Tim is the Chief Operating Officer at Spectrum Designs, a nonprofit apparel and promotional company that has created employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities in New York, New Jersey and Florida.

Tim graduated from King’s College London Law School before studying a Master’s in Public Administration, with a focus in Non-Profit Management through LIU Post. Bringing experience from working all over Europe in many different sectors, Tim’s role is to oversee and advise the Managers and Heads of Department, increase operational efficiency and execute on sales and business growth targets.  

Tim holds a Master Advertising Specialist (MAS) designation and has received numerous accolades, including SAAGNY’s Rising Star Award, PPAI’s North America Region Rising Star Award and 40 Under 40 awards from both SAAGNY and the Business Council of Westchester.

Tim co-authored the book "INKclusivity: Company Benefits of Disability Inclusion & How-to Implementation Guide” which released in 2026, and in 2025 was awarded the coveted LLAP award by the Nimoy Knight Foundation alongside Temple Grandin for services to the creating career paths and inclusivity for the autistic community, joining past recipients including Bill Nye, Billie Jean King and Neil DeGrasse Tyson.

 Tim is a member of the International Honor Society for Public Affairs and Administration, and also serves on the Board of HII Tech, an innovative Research and Development incubator creating game-changing tools for people with disabilities.

Cassie graduated from Cedarville University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a minor in Cross-Cultural Nursing. With a background in trauma, burn, and emergency nursing, she has developed a passion for providing quality healthcare in some of the world's most challenging environments.

As a humanitarian nurse, Cassie has served on international medical responses in Ukraine, Myanmar, Jamaica, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Her experience includes disaster and conflict response, trauma and burn education, emergency field hospital operations, and infectious disease response during an Ebola outbreak. 

Through these experiences, she has witnessed firsthand the connection between clean water, health, and the well-being of communities.

Cassie's involvement with Global Water Projects began during college through fundraising initiatives such as SUP4Water. Since then, she has served as a health educator and participated in project visits and community assessments in India, Nepal, Kenya, and Honduras. 

These experiences have deepened her appreciation for community-led solutions that create lasting change.

Now serving on GWC's Board of Directors, Cassie brings her clinical experience, international perspective, and passion for health education to the organization's mission.
